BOARDING
Phantom Brook Farm is a
non-competitive barn allowing for a relaxed and quiet atmosphere for the horses
and their owners. Personal attention is given to each client and their horse to
assure the experiences are positive and safe. We offer the inexperienced rider
both security and confidence building to assist them in the early stages of
horse ownership.
Phantom Brook Farm offers standard and custom boarding
packages for those who own a horse but are unable or do not wish to take care
of it at home. Each horse has an individualized care plan developed according
to its needs. Phantom Brook Farm does not accept stallions.
The standard boarding package includes a
box stall, turnout to pasture as weather dictates, 3 feedings a day, stall
cleaning and environmental enrichment / socialization as required by each
horse. They are turned out with a buddy horse(s) if the temperament allows. All
horses are checked before we retire for the night to assure they are
comfortable and feeling well. Each horse gets additional hay and a treat.
All veterinary and farrier fees are additional and
billed separately.
Customized boarding packages include the standard
boarding package plus additional services such as grooming, exercising, tacking
up and down, cooling after the ride, additional feedings, and other special
requirements. If you would like these or other special services, please let us
know and if at all possible, we will be happy to accommodate you and your
horse's needs.

LESSONS All stages of
western equitation are available on our lesson horses or your own. Personalized
and individualized instructions are formatted according to the needs and wants
of each student. We also try to accommodate busy schedules by offering
flexibility.
All lessons are private. We welcome both children and
adult students. Safety is stressed in all facets of the equitation instruction
as well as the general well being of the horse. Riding helmets are a
requirement. |
